Get To It!

July 27- where has the time gone? The older I get, the faster time seems to slip through my fingers. In a couple of weeks, I will have been married to the same woman for 40 years... that is just hard to wrap my head around! I don't even feel (mentally or emotionally) that I'm 40... but my body knows. Boy, does it know. And I also know that time, for all of us, is limited here in this life; and I acutely aware that my time is growing shorter. I still have goals to accomplish; songs to write; recordings to make; grandkids to spoil. However, I take great comfort in knowing that I have chosen to follow Christ, and trust in His promise to be with Him. And I would encourage each of you to consider your choice to follow Christ, and have peace and hope that begins now and provides for us in the short time we have left here on his earth, and follows us into the place He has prepared for us.

So, let's get to living! Do the things! Love the ones! See the sights! Write the songs! When it is our time to go, let's go out exhausted, having left nothing undone. And be at peace with God nd man as you live it out loud.

Philippians 4:7 "Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
